I would like to thank the club committee for inviting me to judge the Specialty Show of Tibetan Breeds. It is a great honor for me, and I believe it will be a pleasant meeting for both sides.
I entered the world of organized cynology relatively late, since the first dog in our family was “allowed” only when I was 17 years old. It was a Cavalier, one of the very first representatives of the breed in Slovakia. However, he had an incorrect bite, so he was excluded from shows and breeding. Nevertheless, he was the reason why Cavaliers became my lifelong love. Our first litter was born 13 years later, in 1998. Since then, we have bred several champions and international beauty champions.
As a child, I grew up with German Shepherds (at my grandparents’), and when the right time came (many years later), we decided to add a larger dog to our household alongside the Cavaliers. The choice fell on the Czech national breed – the Chodský pes – and it proved to be a very good and happy decision. Chodský dogs and Cavaliers have created a wonderful community in our home.
I successfully passed the examinations for a dog conformation judge in 2005, and in 2006 I judged my first two breeds at a show – the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the King Charles Spaniel. Gradually, I extended my authorization to the entire FCI Group IX.
Apart from Slovakia, I have judged in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, Finland, and Great Britain.
I am also active in club activities – in the Slovak Cavalier and King Charles Spaniel Club, I serve as the chairwoman, long-term breeding advisor, and organizer of club shows.

The Specialty show is held on Friday, although the Dogfestival shows offers you three CACIB shows in one weekend.
On Friday, our breeds are judged as the first ones in our ring and the Specialty show will start at 11:00h.
